We moved !! No more training at BSC !

Sorry for the late information. We have not trained at BSC bowling anymore because the mat space we used to train was forced to close. Now we train at J-Town only. J-town locates just on the oppsite side of Robinson Sriracha. The training schedule is the same as before. Besides some guys go and train at Burapa university on the other days. Please contact us if you need more information.

Oh this year is drawing near the end. Sorry to keep you waiting, but we are doing fine here.
We are active as usual, and there are some new guys starting newly. All you guys, male, female, young and old welcome !
And we are of course open to other Bangkok members of all gyms. Just come to Pattaya and play on a beach, and drop in after !

I know it is too late to announce the result of the recent white/blue festival held on 2nd/Sep.
We are so glad that everyone from SSJJ showed the great performance and could be on the podium.
We can say it is the great achievement.
We have to admit our practice environment here in Sriracha is not much better than Bangkok and other places.
We have no resident coaches and we cannot spare much time as compared with those guys in Bangkok.
But we have been showing great results in these white/blue competitions !!
This is how hard we dedicate ourselves to training, and we are proud to say that we are rightly directed with our training style. Our results prove it.

And one more shout out is Nanri got promoted to blue belt by Prof. Adam of ATT Thailand after the tournement !

Off to a good start of 2012 !

We are kicking off to a good start of this new year.

Two of Prof. Mr. Nashimoto's students, Miyagawa san & Hakusai san visited SSJJ, and my amigo Luis from Macau JJ also join us at the same time.

And good to meet you new visitors, Andrea san & his friend from Pattaya. (sorry for no photo).

Besides we always appreciate our nice friend & the new black belt of RG BKK, Ben san taking the time to come give us an instruciton complimentary.

We could spend more nice & krazy time than usual.

schedule changed !!

We changed the schedule for the coming competition in October, Thailand Open.
We have classes 3 times a week as below.

Tuesday 20:30-22:30
Thursday 20:30-22:30
Saturday 19:00-21:00

And again we post our location also. Still I don't know how to post the map showed directly on this blog, Caralho.

Finally Nassi came !!

We had a wonderful time on that day. It was so amazing that we could see lots of people on the mat !! Officially I don't know how many people but as I know there were 27 people coming to join in our seminar and be here at SSJJ !!

Of course we have to say big thanks to Prof. Nashimoto & his wife Shinobu san and a big guest Prof. Adam. And also we appreciate very very much for you guys who managed to come to Sriracha Jiu-jitsu.

In the very beginning, we started with only 3-4 guys here in Sriracha. We used to be always suffering from lack of members. What the heck now ?? In the end we could have almost 30 people here !!

Thank you all guys again for coming. And we express our big congratulations on the recent marriage of our friend Prof. Nashimoto and Shinobu san.

Prof. Nashimoto is a black belt and runs his own academy Paraestra Joetsu in Niigata pref.

Our new place

Our new gym locates in the same place of BSC Bowling and Driving range.
There is the Taekwondo academy in the 2nd floor of bowling court.
We again rent the mat area of Taekwondo academy.

Ryuma san asks Taekwondo instructor to give him a cardio training as a private lesson.

New gym !!

Last week was my first visit to this new gym. Recenlty we moved to the new place. This new place is quite bigger than where we used to be. We can roll with 10 pairs at the same time.　The only catch with this new place is there is no shower room now. But we'll make it soon anyhow. The exact map will be shown soon.

We're gonna have a training session with expected some guys from bkk. This time may be the first time we'll receive a bunch of guys. But we feel sorry that the tomorrow place is not our usual gym in Sriracha. Just recently we moved to the new gym in Sriracha, and the new place is much bigger than we used to be. So next time, we will invite you to our home gym for sure.

Now I'm working out how to connect bjj to TPS (Toyota Production System). So my current study subject is to shorten a takt time of each bjj transition but not to skip a process. It's necessary to keep Kamban (just-in-time inventory management) going through smoothly im the whole bjj movements.
This clip can remind me of how to use robots in the production field. My arms and legs will be like a robot, and I'll try this kind of movements on spar tomorrow !!

Sudo Genki is one of my favorites players. I always try to copy his trickster style. That's why my techniques are always messed up, hahaha.

We had a wonderful class at this last weekend.
We hosted Nassi coming from Paraestra Joetsu seminar here in SSJJ.
Nobody can defend armpit punch pass-guard that Nassi taught us.

Dinner was at Mangetsu as our usual home.
And after party was a crazy night guided by krazy also same as usual.

We have very very few members who can keep training now.

Ryuma san is starting to say he's gonna do Muay Thai on his own in order to keep his cardio.

So now we have the resident member, Never Tap Asia 2010 Nogi champion here in Sriracha.

in rehab

We had usual training on Sat. and had the morning class on Sun. last weekend.
We were rehabilitated !
For us drunkun people, it was well done we did training from 8:30am in the morning !

After evening class, we went to have a dinner as usual. But we didn't go anywhere after the dinner.
Just what we did was we had a bottle of whiskey at Ryuma san's room and watched BJJ DVDs and did some reviews drunkenly. We got well-improved !
